August Update
Shalom, my friend. I’m writing to say todah rabah for your generosity. Or, if we were speaking Yiddish like we did in Brooklyn, I’d simply say, A sheynem dank! Thank you very much!
No matter how we say it, we really mean it—thank you very much for your partnership with The Jewish Road this month. Here’s just a glimpse of how your investment is bearing fruit.
We’re seeing a noticeable uptick in the number of downloads of our podcast in recent weeks. Have you had a chance to listen to the last couple conversations?
#1 The latest podcast episode, “Where Jesus Heals a Demoniac,” was captured when Matt and I were last in Israel. We’re teaching from the eastern slope of the Sea of Galilee, a place I like to call “Swine Lake.” When you have 20 minutes or so, listen to Matt and I unpack Mark 5. I believe you’ll hear something new and inspiring about our Yeshua-Messiah, who came to seek and to save . . . everyone.
By the way, we are still GO for our October 5-15 Israel tour, God-willing. We are watching the movements of what is happening across the Middle East, prayerfully. We’ve got a few open spots and we’d love for you to come with us. It’s an important trip, a trip of a lifetime, really. And even more so considering all that has happened there in the last year. No doubt our days will be filled with stories of how God has rescued and protected the Land and His people, in both the past, the present and even, by faith, in the future. We’re sure to meet many courageous people of like-minded faith. It would be great if you were with us.
#2 Speaking of courageous people, another podcast worth listening to, “Inside Operation Israel” is our conversation with Adi Vaxman, the founder of “Operation Israel.” Originally from Israel, Adi lives in the NYC area and like the rest of us, listened in horror as the October 7 attacks shook the world. Like we all wish we could, Adi decided to do something about it. She’s got the grit and determination of a Jewish mother coupled with high level executive skills. Just wait till you hear how she’s making an impact today in Israel.
Speaking of, you are also making an impact on God’s land and God’s people. Let me say again, toda raba for your generosity in prayer and financial support. Your partnership matters so much as together we tell the story of Israel and of God’s faithfulness to all His people.
“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10
With you on the road,
Ron Davis
