Shabbat Gatherings
First Friday of the Month
Home of Ron & Kay Davis
811 Corbitt Drive
Wilmore, KY 40390
Monthly rhythm
Each month, we will begin with fellowship, food, and a reminder to rest. In a world that keeps moving faster, Shabbat teaches us to slow down, remember who holds the story, and gather around the calendar God gave His people.
September 4 @ 7pm
Rosh Hashanah | Feast of Trumpets
We’ll celebrate with apples and honey as a sweet reminder of God’s kindness and faithfulness. Biblically, this day is Yom Teruah, the Day of Trumpets, calling us to wake up, return, and listen for the sound that points us toward Messiah’s coming.
October 2 @ 6pm
Feast of Tabernacles|Booths
We’ll gather with joy, food, and celebration as we remember the Feast of Tabernacles, when Israel remembers God’s provision in the wilderness. Sukkot also points us forward to the day when God will dwell with His people, the nations will come to worship the King, and the whole earth will know His presence.
November 6 @ 7pm
Finding Jesus in the Old Testament
This month, we’ll step back into the story beneath the story and look for Messiah where He has been all along. From the Hebrew Scriptures to the New Testament, we will see how God’s calendar, promises, patterns, and people all point us toward Jesus.
December 4 @ 6pm
Festival of Lights | Hanukkah
We’ll celebrate Hanukkah with light, story, and joy as we remember God’s preservation of the Jewish people and the rededication of the Temple. For followers of Jesus, the Festival of Lights helps us see the deeper story of dedication, hope, and the Light of the World entering a darkened world.
What is The Jewish Road?
We are two Jews who talk about Jesus, connecting Act One (Old Testament) to Act Two (New Testament) and bringing the depth and roots of the faith to the world.
Matt Davis
Founder + Executive Director
For the past two decades, Matt Davis has been married to his beautiful wife Marilee (the story of them meeting is fantastic!), and together they have three outstanding kids. Matt is a graduate of BIOLA University and Talbot School of Theology. After serving in a church for the past two decades as a Teaching and Executive Pastor, he started The Jewish Road with his dad (the guy below). One of Matt’s greatest joys in life is bringing families on legacy trips to the Middle East to teach them about the roots of their faith.
Ron Davis
Founder + Executive Director
Ron Davis is husband to the beautiful Kay and the grand patriarch of a whole tribe of kids and grandkids. Ron has too many post-graduate degrees (Talbot School of Theology) to count, but his main passion in life is sharing the gospel with Jewish people. When he first met Jesus as His Jewish Messiah in his twenties, it changed everything for him!
Ron's mission is to equip the church to know the roots of their faith and to share the gospel with his Jewish brethren.
